16° in Portreath, 21° in Nadadouro
So we've just booked our ferry to go Portugal. We're off on 20.09.2009! What an amazing date. Not only numerically but it's also 6 months to the day from our wedding day, it feels quite an auspicious moment. So much has happened in such a short time. Roma - Portugal - Canada - i'm just having the time of my life. Feeling a bit sad about leaving all my wonderful friends behind, but then I know it's only distance rather than losing them, we've all got Skype after all! They'll all be over, enjoying a different part of the Atlantic coast. But with an extra 10° in the bag.
I've found an excellent school for the boy. Brand new, looks fab. Small classes, extra Portuguese lessons (wondering if the Olds can have some too), sailing school on the doorstep. Our life will be transformed. Bring it on!
The picture above is Nazare, a chic little town, just up the coast. Piri piri sardinas for lunch - who wants 'em! Yummy x
