Waiting ...

Ok so today we were promised a landline and internet connection! However PT - equivalent to BT - didn't show. Somehow i wasn't surprised, but disappointed. i went to see our English speaking PT guy, Hugo, who promised to sort out this predicament, and ring me tomorrow. One thing i can say about this country is how lovely and polite everyone is, even more laid back than Cornwall, so can't complain. So now back to our hospitable little bar around the corner - the VIP bar - run by Jules (from Canada) and John (from Leeds) - with a super fast cable connection. A lovely pink bar. Quite apt really. Jacob's had his second day at school and has homework! Set in Portuguese! omg! Feeling inadequate and without babel fish, due to no connection, had to go to the bar for help. First call for help - go to the bar! Phew! A friendly girl translated for Jacob and even helped him suss out the conundrum. I love this place xxx

DesignerThis blog was born when I left the UK and started a new adventure on the Silver Coast of Portugal. Being settled on the salty shores of the Atlantic is just idyllic; love, sun, sea and smiles, the perfect life for me.
